Anyone who has caught the Perry Rhodan bug has known the thrill of sitting down and browsing in old issues to reminisce about all those adventures that we have experienced with our heroes.
To that end, having the original booklets at hand is, of course, the best option, but if you no longer have them in your possession, or if you can’t easily get at them because they are stored away in the basement or the attic for lack of space, there’s now an easy alternative for indulging in this pleasure, namely, our web site!
Starting today, the first 50 issues of the series are online, complete with cover pages, listings of main characters, and the original prologues from the first edition. Last night, I probably spent an hour or so (actually, I only wanted to take a quick look, but …) clicking through the pages - and was quite flabbergasted about how much I could actually remember, despite the twenty-five years that have passed since I became hopelessly infected with the Perry virus at the age of eleven.
This thrill ride into the past has been made possible by our loyal reader Thomas Gröschl and our Internet agency
Oh, and the first fifty issues are, of course, only the start. We plan to close the gaps bit by bit. That’s when the fun of nostalgic rummaging online will really take off …
